Born and raised in Kailua, O'ahu, Asaiah Scott – known professionally as The MAADKiNG – is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, bassist, producer and audio engineer creating roots reggae from Hawai'i. His music draws from Jamaican roots, lovers rock, soul, R&B and hip-hop while keeping consciousness at its center.
